The Nunatsiavut Government marks the one-year anniversary of its first elections this month. William Andersen III, president of Nunatsiavut, will share insights about the challenges and opportunities of establishing a new government for Labrador Inuit when he delivers this year’s Eve and Edward Roberts Aboriginal Speaker’s Series address on Monday, Oct. 15.
The talk begins at 8 p.m. in the Engineering Building, room EN-2006, at Memorial's St. John's campus, and will include a question period at the end. A reception will follow.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Free parking in Lot 16.
