Media are invited to attend the Galbraith Lecture in Public Policy by Prime Minister of Iceland Geir Haarde on Tuesday, April 15, at 8 p.m. in the Inco Innovation Centre lecture theatre, room IIC-2001.
Iceland tops the UN’s Human Development Index, as well as a number of other international indices. Mr. Haarde’s lecture, titled Small Country, Big Results: The Case of Iceland, will address the question of how Iceland became such a success and what Newfoundland and Labrador can learn from this example.
Parking will be available in Lot 18. The session will be webcast “live” at 8 p.m. NDT at www.mun.ca/harriscentre/.
