SUBJECT: Conference on innovations in health education and professional development

NOTE TO EDITORS:
The 2006 conference of the Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE) takes place Sept. 9-11 at the Delta St. John’s Hotel. It is being hosted by Memorial University’s Professional Development and Conferencing Services.
The conference theme is innovations in continuing health education and continuing professional development. The keynote address will be presented Sunday Sept. 10 at 8:15 a.m. by Sister Elizabeth M. Davis, a longstanding leader in health and education in the province.
Fran Kirby, director of Memorial’s University’s Professional Development and Conferencing Services, is a board member of CACHE. She is co-chair of the 2006 conference with Dr. Vernon Curran, co-director of the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education.
