The St. John’s Public Lectures in Philosophy series continues on Tuesday, Nov. 29, with a lecture by Dr. Robert Sweeny, Department of History, Memorial University of Newfoundland, whose topic will be Why did we industrialize? The lecture gets underway at 8:30 p.m. at the Ship Pub, Duckworth Street, St. John’s. All are invited to attend.
