SUBJECT: Space scientist delivers two lectures at Memorial University

A well-known space scientist will delve into two diverse subjects on Friday, June 16, 2006, during a special visit to Memorial University’s St. John’s campus. Dr. Richard Wassersug holds faculty appointments at Dalhousie University's medical school and both the Departments of Biology and Psychology. His first lecture, titled Vertebrate Biology in Microgravity: What We Know (and Don't Know) About the Behavior and Development of Vertebrates in Weightlessness, will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 16, in room A-1043 in the Arts and Administration Building. The second, titled Modern Day Eunuchs: Who is Castrated in Modern Society and Why?, will take place at 2 p.m. in room A-1043.
