SUBJECT: PSA: Monte Carlo Charity Gala takes place this weekend
DATE: October 31, 2005
The Monte Carlo Charity Gala, sponsored by the first and second-year medical students at Memorial University, takes place Saturday, Nov. 5, starting at 7 p.m.at the Fairmont Hotel. Admission is one non-perishable food item. Dress up (black tie optional) and have the time of your life. There is gambling, a live and silent auction, live entertainment, a dessert café and dancing. All proceeds go to selected charities.
This year’s charities are the Western Regional Hospital Foundation, the Kids Help Phone, the Pottle Centre, the Refugee Immigrant Advisory Council, VON Broadening Horizons, the St. John’s Boys and Girls Club and SPAN(Single Parents' Association of Newfoundland).
