SUBJECT: PSA: Internationally-recognized poet, typographer and cultural historian to deliver Pratt Lecture at Memorial

The 2005 Pratt Lecture will feature Robert Bringhurst, internationally-recognized poet, typographer, cultural historian, linguist and true Renaissance man with a lecture titled The Silence That Is Not Poetry and the Silence That Is. The lecture will he held on Friday, Oct. 14, at 8 p.m.in the Reid Theatre, Arts and Administration Building. Members of the general public are invited to attend. There is no admission charge and free parking is available in Area 15, across from the Schoolof Music. A reception will follow in the University Club, 5th floor, Arts and Administration Building.
