SUBJECT: Memorial's business students bring together local leaders for The Power of Passion

Former premier Brian Tobin and Bill Barry, president of the Barry Group of Companies Inc., will be among the guest speakers at The Power of Passion conference on Friday, March 24 at the Fairmont Newfoundland in St. John’s.
Other guest speakers include Debbie Hanlon, president of Coldwell Banker Hanlon, and Judy Sparkes-Giannou, president of Maxxim Vacations, who will share how their passions have led them to success. Local TV show host Krysta Rudofsky will moderate the discussion. Opening remarks will begin at 9 a.m. and the conference will wrap up at noon.

This half-day conference represents the 41st annual Business Day, an event organized and implemented by the graduating class of the bachelor of commerce (co-operative) program at Memorial’s Faculty of Business Administration. Business Day is a professional conference that provides business leaders, students and faculty members the opportunity to interact and discuss the important business issues of today.
