Media are invited to a special breakfast to launch a new research and development network, Springboard Atlantic Inc., on Tuesday, June 14 at 8:30 a.m in the Junior Common Room, R. Gushue Hall, Irwin’s Road (off Prince Philip Drive), St. John’s Campus, Memorial University.
Springboard links university research with the private sector in Atlantic Canada to advance economic growth through the commercialization of university-based research. Memorial University is a member of Springboard. Springboard will assist the province’s entrepreneurs and industry through technology transfer from Atlantic Canadian universities, support for new start-up ventures, and development of collaborative research to generate discoveries with commercial potential.
