SUBJECT: Taste award-winning Australian wine

They're back again with another special wine-tasting event. The St. John's Memorial University Alumni Chapter presents its Fourth Annual Wine-Tasting Evening. Come and soak up the Australian sunshine on Friday, April 29, with host, Memorial alumnus and president- emeritus Dr. Arthur May as he presents an evening of fine Australia wines. Included among the evening's wines is Katnook Estate Odyssey 1998. In 2003 this Cabernet Sauvignon prevailed over an estimated 3,500 wines from around the world to take the Best Vintage Red Wine of the Year award at the prestigious 2003 International Wine and Spirit Competition.
Joining guests for the evening is Derrick Butler, Canadian export manager for Wingara Wine Group. Mr. Butler will give a brief description of the evening's featured winery and wines. The event also features an excellent vintage musically speaking, as performers from Memorial's School of Music uncork an evening serenade.
