Memorial alumni and friends are invited to a presentation with keynote speaker Glenn Blackwood, director, Centre for Sustainable Aquatic Resources, Marine Institute. His presentation will focus on the transformation of the province’s fishing industry from ground fish to shell fish. The challenges facing the fishery sector on a global basis will be highlighted as well as the Marine Institute’s and Memorial’s role in providing research and development in support of industry and rural economies.
Susan Fowlow, alumni representative, will greet fellow alumni and friends.
