The St. John's Public Lectures in Philosophy series continues on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, with a lecture entitled Empire and Religion: A Critical Presentation of the Ideas and Religious Beliefs Shaping the Current American Empire and, hence, the World. The presentation will take place at The Ship pub on Duckworth Street from 8-10:30 p.m.and includes three speakers: PeterTrnka, Bernard Wills, and Craig Cramm. All are invited to attend.
The St. John'sPublic Lectures in Philosophy is an informal public lecture discussion series, with an emphasis on the intrinsic value of a critical examination of assumptions and presuppositions.
