SUBJECT: PSA: Fundraiser to support World AIDS Day

Memorial University’s local chapter of CUSO will hold a bake sale and sushi sale to raise money for CUSO’s programming on AIDS on Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The fundraiser will be held on the third floor of the University Centre, Arctic Avenue. All are welcome to attend this event.
CUSO is a Canadian-based international development organization and one of the leading volunteer-sending organizations in the country. They work with partner groups and individuals seeking to foster equality and freedom, safeguard cultures and communities, and protect the environment. They currently have 15 co-operant volunteers in Ghana, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzaniaand Burkina Faso working to eradicate the spread of HIV/AIDS. For more info on CUSO, visit www.cuso.org.
