March 19, 2011: Photos from a second video workshop and filming trip, Cartwright, February 2011.
Lisa Rankin, Mario Blaser, Derek Norman and Eliza Brandy went to Cartwright in February to hold a second video workshop for high school students. This workshop focused on editing films shot by the students over the winter. This was again part of the SSHRC-funded project “Identify Yourself”, in which students produce short films on the broad themes of being Metis and living in southern Labrador. The crew also took a trip out to the site of Indian Harbour by skidoo, under the capable guidance of Doris and Lew Davis, where they did some filming.
