Memorial Presents
Memorial Presents is an ongoing series of public forums hosted by the Harris Centre on issues of important public policy in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Previous sessions have dealt with various topics, including fishery policy, education policy, energy policy and equalization and regional development.
The format of each session is as follows:
- A main presentation by a Memorial University faculty member, staff member or student (approximately 30 minutes)
- Rejoinders/rebuttals by two or three panelists, who may be from the University or the outside community (10 minutes each)
- A discussion session with the audience, moderated by the Harris Centre (approximately 1 hour)
