Ferriss Hodgett Library

The Ferriss Hodgett Library, named in honour of former Principal Dr. E. J Ferriss Hodgett, is one of the libraries that make up the Memorial University Libraries system. Being part of a smaller liberal arts and sciences campus that's part of a bigger university means local personalized service and a core collection of over 150,000 print books, 200 print journal subscriptions, and other materials, combined with access to a much larger collection of print and online resources.

The original library opened in 1975 when the campus was the "West Coast Regional College". The current Library & Computing Building opened in 1995. We have many unique collections including art exhibition catalogues, the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Aerial Photographs, board games, a large graphic novel collection, and many rare books and other materials.

There are many ways to give to the library. Your contribution is important to us.
