Research Interests

• Metallogenic studies particularly in Newfoundland and Labrador - ranging from individual mineral deposits to regional belts
• Labrador and Newfoundland geology
• History of geological thought with respect to Labrador and Newfoundland
  involved in the Labrador Institute and am the MUN representative on the ssociation of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies; thus interested in all aspects of northern research
• Member of Major Collaborative Research Initiative project on "Coasts Under Stress" with particular interests in 19th century smelting and its effects in the Tilt Cove area
