Welcome Graduate Students!

Memorial University Geoscience Graduate Student Society (MUGGSS) is a student organization, founded in 2023 with an aim to support the graduate students in the Department of Earth Sciences of Memorial University of Newfoundland in academic and social capacity. It works closely with the university and faculty authorities and other student bodies in the best interest of the Earth Sciences graduate students.

MUGGSS also arranges various activities like weekly coffee breaks, socials and field trips to enhance social bonding among the students. This website provides information about MUGGSS and our activities.
