First Science Co-op Student of The Year Awarded
Computer Science undergraduate student Alex Brant is the recipient of the first "Science Co-op Student of the Year" award. The award was collected by his workplace supervisor, Mr. Sam Bromley, at the Dean of Science awards ceremony on September 21, 2017.
Alex not only made Dean's List for each year of his program, he also had an exceptional computer industry internship with Whitecap Scientific.
The Science Co-op Student of the Year award is open to Faculty of Science undergraduate co-op and internship students who receive a grade of Pass with Distinction in one or more work terms in the preceding year and demonstrate a high level of academic achievement.
