Dr. Christian has a diverse training background in Biochemistry, Immunology, Neurochemistry, and Virology, with the theme of signal transduction woven throughout. This broad training continues to influence her research pursuits. She is particularly interested in understanding how cells communicate with other cells through extracellular mediators and how cells interpret the signals from these mediators.
