Research

Pediatric Resident Research Day occurs once per year in the spring.

Research is mandatory and all residents are expected to present at this forum. Typically the residents will present their research proposal in PGY 2 and their project, in it's entirety, in PGY 4.

A research month is allocated during PGY 2 which is dedicated time for development of the research project. Residents will be expected to meet with Dr. Joanna Hudson during their research block.

The Canadian Child Health Clinician Scientist Program (CCHCSP) Curriculum will be offered to those interested in further development of their research skills.

Finally, for residents who want extra training, they are able to complete a diploma or M.Sc. in clinical epidemiology.
