Classics 2902 "The Environment of the Greeks and Romans" gives an overview of the ways that Classical cultures exploited, depended on, and viewed the natural environment as a source of energy, raw materials, food, and wealth, as well as a mythical world of gods and spirits. It will, moreover, highlight environmental problems caused by the Greeks and Romans and their consequences that are still visible today.
