Student Opportunities
The Department of Biochemistry offers a variety of employment and student opportunities, including both academic and non-academic roles. For those interested in research, there are undergraduate and graduate research positions, assistantships, summer research placements, and volunteer positions available. These roles allow students to work closely with faculty on innovative projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience and enhancing their academic profiles.
Beyond research, students can get involved in non-academic roles such as peer tutoring, student ambassador positions, administrative assistantships, social media management, and event coordination. These opportunities provide a chance to develop leadership skills, engage with the department community, and build a professional network.
