Claire Langille
Chairperson | M.Sc Student

My name is Claire, and I am so happy to serve as BCGS Chairperson this year! I am a first year masters student here at MUN. I hold a B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry, which I also completed at Memorial. My research focuses on studying bacterial cell membranes and their interactions with antimicrobial peptides via computational biochemistry techniques. I also dabble in some mass spectrometry and NMR. When I'm not in the lab, you can find me playing soccer or running track for the MUN varsity teams. I also enjoy hiking, reading, and cooking. I hope to use my past volunteering experience and campus involvement to make this the best year yet for the BCGS!
