Adjudication panel established for Teaching and Learning Framework funding competition
An adjudication panel of representatives from across Memorial University has been established to review applications to the Teaching and Learning Framework St. John’s Campus Funding Competition.
The panel will begin its work of reviewing applications and making recommendations to the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) following the funding competition deadline of 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015. Funded projects are expected to be announced by July 31, 2015.
The panel members are: Dr. Doreen Neville, Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) – chair; John Tucker, Marine Institute; Dr. Matthew Janes, Grenfell Campus ; Bert Riggs, QEII Library; Dr. Martin Mulligan, Faculty of Science; Dr. Leslie Phillips, School of Pharmacy; Sheila Singleton, Office of the Registrar; Ryan Murphy, MUNSU; and Asan Mohideen, GSU.
The TLF St. John’s Campus Funding Competition was established to encourage the exploration of creative and innovative practices in teaching and learning on the St. John’s campus. The funding competition will give the Memorial community on the St. John’s campus the resources needed (one-time non-base funding) for short-term (1-2 year maximum duration) projects and proof of concept initiatives in teaching and learning.
Applications to the competition are being accepted through an online application system available at https://teachingandlearningmun.fluidreview.com/ until 5 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2015.
