Search committee established: May 5, 2023

In accordance with the Procedures Governing the Appointment, Review, Promotion and Tenure of Academic Administrators, a search committee has been established for the role of dean of the School of Social Work. 

Elected members: 

Dr. Kathleen de Jong, assistant professor, School of Social Work
Dr. Bren LeFrancois, university research professor, School of Social Work
Cheryl Mallard, manager of field education/field education coordinator, School of Social Work
Dr. Laura Pacheco, assistant professor, School of Social Work

Appointed members:

Dr. Ashlee Cunsolo, vice-provost, Labrador campus and dean, School of Arctic and Subarctic Studies
Dr. Shawn Bugden, dean, School of Pharmacy
Victoria Randell, student representative, School of Social Work
Dr. Jennifer Lokash, provost and vice-president (academic), pro tempore - chair

The search committee is being supported by Kim Blanchard, manager, senior leadership recruitment in Memorial's Department of Human Resources, and staff in the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic).
