Appointment Announcement - Dec. 8, 2023

The search committee for the role of associate vice-president (academic) (AVPA) and dean of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has completed its work. The committee has recommended Dr. Amy Warren for the position. President Neil Bose accepted the recommendation; the Board of Regents approved the appointment at its meeting on Dec. 7. Dr. Warren, who has been in the role on an interim basis since fall 2021, began a five-year term effective Dec. 8, 2023. Read more in the Gazette.  


 

Shortlisted candidates 

The search committee for the role of associate vice-president (academic) and dean, School of Graduate Studies has shortlisted three internal candidates.

Each candidate will give a public presentation to the university community in person and via Webex. The link for the virtual option will be shared as soon as it is available.

This can be done at any point between now and the event start time.

All students, faculty and staff across campuses are invited to participate. A moderated Q&A session will take place at the conclusion of the presentations. Participants will be able to submit questions in the Q&A field in Webex during the event.
