New @mun.ca email mailboxes

New @mun.ca email service for Grenfell Campus faculty and staff

All @mun.ca email accounts for Grenfell Campus faculty and staff have now been moved into Microsoft 365 Outlook.

This improvement has been made so that it is easier for users to access their emails. It means that users will receive better service and it will give access to all available services as it integrates with Office 365.

Email addresses are not affected and your mun.ca email address will not change.

To access your email please go to https://outlook.office.com/ and login using your MUN Login (@mun.ca address). Please use a new browser on your computer for this to avoid any issues with cached data.

You will be asked to set up multifactor authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator app. Once this has been set up you will be able to access email on your computer through your browser, or on your phone with the outlook app.

The new mailbox will not contain old emails sent prior to the change. These can still be accessed at webmail.mun.ca. However, the webmail.mun.ca will not be receiving new incoming emails. These will only be received through Outlook.

To enable the new mail service to operate effectively, all Grenfell faculty, staff and students are required to change their MUN Login password if they have not already done since Jan. 1, 2024. If you have not already completed this step, you will need to do so by going to https://login.mun.ca/forgot-password.
