Bio: Arthur Sullivan is Professor of Philosophy at Memorial University's Department of Philosophy where he was also previously the Head of the Department. He works on the Philosophy of Language, as well as in related areas of Philosophical Logic, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science, Epistemology, and Metaphysics. He has recently published papers in Synthese, Philosophical Studies, and Philosophers' Imprint, among other places. His book Reference and Structure came out with Routledge in 2013. His two most recent major research grants (SSHRCC SRGs) are "The Future of the Proposition" (2010-13) and "The Externalism/Individualism Debates" (2006-09).
