She is author of The Laws of the Spirit: A Hegelian Theory of Justice, and has published in the areas of political philosophy, feminism, and the tradition of European philosophy more broadly. She is currently working on a book on feminism, while tinkering with a second project, a book about art. She teaches courses in phenomenology, political philosophy, moral philosophy, Hegel, philosophy and art, and feminism, with special emphasis on the history of philosophy. She has a delightful young son and occasionally sings in an avant-garde country music band.
