Adjunct Professor

Karissa Johnston completed a BSc in Statistics in 2004 from the University of Victoria, a MSc in Statistics in 2005 from the University of British Columbia, and a PhD in Epidemiology in 2009, also from the University of British Columbia. Since then, she has worked as a consultant, focussing on epidemiology and health economics studies. She is currently a principal at Broadstreet Health Economics and Outcomes research, in addition to an adjunct professor at Memorial.

Research Areas of Interest: Observational studies, economic evaluation, literature review and evidence synthesis, patient reported outcomes

Teaching Areas of Interest: Economic evaluation, discrete choice experiments, statistical analysis in epidemiology
