Newfoundland and Labrador’s repertoire of folk songs and stories is vast, but only a relatively small number of works from the tradition are performed in the province’s venues today. The goal of the Good as a Concert performance series is to celebrate the tradition and bring a wider range of songs and stories into circulation. Presented in a welcoming and informal manner, concerts and workshops in the series feature some of the most respected artists working in the tradition today. Join us at the next Good as a Concert event and experience the richness of the province’s culture! Good as a Concert is produced by SingSong Inc, MMaP, and Eleanor Dawson.

Please join us for the next event in the series, which will take place at 7:30 PM on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Suncor Hall at the Memorial University School of Music. The theme of the evening will be “Bound Home in October” and will feature Dave Paddon, Colleen Power, Ginny Ryan, and Graham Wells. Tickets are $25 (20 for students) and may be purchased at the door. Videos of past events can be viewed on the MMaP YouTube channel.
