As the founder of OPAS Mobile, Vince has successfully built a startup that revolutionizes industrial field operations through AI-driven solutions. In addition to leading OPAS Mobile, Vince serves on the senior management team of North Star Associates, where he leverages over a decade of experience in industrial projects to drive operational excellence and innovation. His hands-on experience in scaling businesses and deep understanding of industrial processes have uniquely positioned VInce to help companies wishing to enter an industrial market with a B2B service.Vince is a graduate of Memorial’s Civil Engineering program.

Rachel Pautler

Rachel started her career in nanotech engineering, but quickly found herself in the software industry. She has been involved in two exited startups, one as a founder and one as an early employee. She spends her days as a product manager at Looka, a marketing and design firm for small and medium businesses. But, she is equally as passionate about working with university and high school entrepreneurs both at MCE and at the University of Waterloo.

Liam Cadigan
Co-Founder, inspectAR
Liam Cadigan, is an electrical engineering graduate from Memorial University, and co-founder of inspectAR, which developed AR tools for circuit board manufacturing and testing. His journey includes a 2nd place in the SpaceX Hyperloop competition (2017), an internship at Neuralink (2018), and a $10k Y Combinator grant for inspectAR (2019). The company was acquired by Cadence Design Systems in 2020. Liam holds two U.S. patents for his contributions. He enjoys learning languages and travelling the world outside work.

Emily Bland
CEO, SucSeed

Emily Bland is a wealth advisor with CIBC Wood Gundy and is the current Seed-EO of SucSeed; a hydroponic social enterprise that is on a mission to help the world grow. Previous to this she completed the Commerce program at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2021, SucSeed became the first B Corp in Newfoundland and Labrador. The SucSeed Foundation also received it’s charitable status in 2024.
Emily is the first entrepreneur in NL to be funded through Coralus (formally SheEO), she was named HSBC’s Women Leader of Tomorrow for Atlantic Canada and was named Next 36’s Top Entrepreneur. She was also awarded NLOWE’s Young Enterprise of the Year Award and SucSeed was named the top Social Enterprise in Atlantic Canada in 2019. Emily is a graduate of the Creative Destruction Lab, where SucSeed raised it’s first round of capital, NEXT 36 where she was selected as most promising entrepreneur, WE Day Accelerator and Genesis Enterprise Program. Emily has a passion for social enterprise development she was a founding board member of the Centre for Social Enterprise at MUN, currently sits on the board of the Memorial Center for Entrepreneurship and the Empowering Indigenous Women’s Organization. She has been mentoring start up entrepreneurs since 2015 and has collectively helped fundraise over 10 M in funding for her own business, businesses of students she has mentored and for organizations that she sits on the board of.

Isaac Adejuwon
CEO & Founder, Metricsflow
Isaac immigrated to Canada in 2010 to pursue his education. He studied at Memorial University and graduated with a B.Eng in Electrical Engineering in 2016. During his studies, he identified a problem with web data collection which inspired him to found Metricsflow, a data analytics software for marketers. Together with his co-founder and team, they developed and deployed the technology across Canada, the USA and Japan. Isaac has raised capital from angels and VCs in Canada and Silicon Valley. Throughout his journey, he has participated in startup programs at hubs such as MCE and Genesis Centre in St. John's, Propel ICT in Atlantic Canada, Communitech in Waterloo and Creative Destruction Labs in Montreal.
He has been a tech startup judge for founders at the Evolution program at Genesis Centre, Memorial University Centre for Entrepreneurship, Founder Institute, and TechNL Awards.
Isaac is the first tech startup founder to be granted the Startup Visa in Newfoundland and Labrador. This visa enabled him to continue his path with entrepreneurship. In 2018, his company Metricsflow was selected as a finalist for the most promising startup award in Canada by NACO. In 2022, Isaac was the winner of the Bridget Foster Cultural Business Icon Award, and in 2024, he was listed as the Top 30 Black Founders in Canada.
