All students, faculty, and staff of the Memorial community are invited to join the Indigenous Student Resource Centre, Student Life, and First Light Friendship Centre on the Juniper House grounds (208 Elizabeth Avenue), to celebrate Indigenous cultures on Friday, January 17 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.This event provides a safe space on campus for all community members, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to come together to celebrate the many rich and diverse Indigenous cultures of this province and nation. Come meet and talk with Elders and Knowledge Keepers, observe the opening prayer and lighting of the Kullik, share in a meal, and participate in drumming and smudging.
