The Student Wellness and Counselling Centre’s Doctoral Residency In Professional Psychology started in 1991 and is accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association. To date, the program has successfully graduated 64 early-career psychologists, a considerable contribution to the field. Former SWCC residents are employed in a wide array of psychologist positions including health authorities, post-secondary institutions and private practice, and many hold leadership positions within professional psychology training.
