At the Memorial University Student Wellness and Counselling Centre (SWCC) we understand the important of staying well. Our dedicated family doctors are here to support your health and well-being every step of the way and we are taking new patients!

We offer flexible hours, walk-in appointments, and virtual consultations to fit your busy schedule.

From routine check-ups to mental health support, we provide a full range of services tailored to students. Our compassionate team is here to listen and help you navigate your health concerns without judgment.

Free with your MCP card

The medical services of the SWCC are free with your MCP card or provincial health care card.

Current proof of enrollment as a student is required. Call 709-864-8500, option 3 to book an appointment.

If you are an international student, we also accept Student Guard insurance (check your plan for your coverage). Some services not covered by MCP may have a nominal charge.

Serving Memorial, CNA, and CNS students

Students at Memorial University, College of the North Atlantic, and the Centre for Nursing Studies are welcomed to use the medical services of SWCC. We also care for your partners and children living at the same address.
