Weekly and Daily Challenges:
Participate in our weekly and daily challenges for the chance to win 1 of 5 $20 Starbucks gift cards! The more submissions, the more your name is entered into the draw.
For each challenge, take a picture or let us know if you completed the challenge by emailing your submissions to swccwellness@mun.ca with the subject name “Mental Health Week - Weekly/Daily Challenges.”
Weekly Challenges: Throughout the week, there will be three continuous challenges. Submit once a day for each challenge.
- Wear green for mental health. Submit a picture of yourself wearing your favourite green attire! If you have multiple green tops, pants, or accessories, you can submit a picture every day to support mental health.
- Name your emotions. As part of CMHA’s #GetReal about how you feel. Reflect upon your day and let us know what emotions you experienced!
- Self-love journal. Write down one thing you love about yourself each day and submit it. By the end of the week, you will have started a self-love journal!
Monday Daily Challenge: Participate in your favourite leisure activity. You could go outside, go for a walk, or enjoy a hot beverage with a loved one etc. Let us know what you did!
Tuesday Daily Challenge: Call a friend or family member. Checking in on loved ones is important; let us know you called someone to check in on their well-being!
Wednesday Daily Challenge: Do an act of self-care. You could meditate, go to the gym, or take a break etc. Let us know what you did as an act of self-care today!
Thursday Daily Challenge: Do a random act of kindness. Compliment someone, tell a loved one you appreciate them, or buy a drink for the person behind you in the line; let us know how you were kind today!
