2022 Blundon Award Event Details
The award ceremony to recognize the 2022 award winners is scheduled for Nov. 1, 2022 at 5 p.m. in the Whale Atrium at the Core Science Facility at Memorial University's St. John's campus. This year's event not only marks the return of the awards after a brief hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but we also come together to celebrate 30 years since the inception of the Blundon Centre.

Parking
There will be free parking available for this event on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the parking garage on Lot 27 (or view parking map here) on the corner of Arctic and Clinch Avenues.
What are the Blundon Awards?
Since 1992, the Glenn Roy Blundon Award has been awarded to an individual or group who has demonstrated commitment to disability inclusion, equity and accessibility at Memorial University's St. John's Campus. Please note that The Glenn Roy Blundon Award is the only award requiring nomination.
Additional awards were added in 2018 to celebrate and honour special achievements in teaching and learning, as well as leadership.
2022 marks the 30th anniversary of both the Blundon Centre and the Blundon Awards!

Glenn Roy Blundon Award Winners
The Glenn Roy Blundon Award, named after former Memorial student Glenn Roy Blundon, is presented annually to an individual or a group who has gone above and beyond their normal duties to promote equality and accessibility for Memorial students with disabilities.
