Our Research
Memorial University's Research Strategy 2023-2028 sets the vision, mission and core principles for research at Memorial and identifies the goals and objectives necessary to achieve success. Its development marks a significant step in Memorial's continued growth and evolution as a research-focused institution.
The School of Social Work is an active and vibrant research environment. Faculty, staff, and students are engaged in a diverse range of research activities, much of which are funded through tri-council agencies, contracts with federal agencies, provincial and local foundations and agencies, and through internal competitions at Memorial University.
For recent examples of internally and externally funded projects, please see the Funded Research page. A list of recent publications can be found at on the Publications page.
The School of Social Work is also very involved in public engagement work. Some examples of the School's public engagement work can be found on the Public Engagement page.
