Courses are offered in several different formats:

• SCWK 6012, 6013, 6014 and 6413 are offered online only;
• SCWK 6313, 6314, and 6315 are offered online and have an on-campus institute consisting of 36 hours of classroom instruction for each course. These courses may include home-study, conference calls, and Internet components scheduled prior to and/or following the Institute. Students are required to attend the institute portion on the St. John’s Campus for 6-8 days.
• SCWK 6917 (Field Internship) is completed in the student’s home community, when appropriate supervision is available.
• SCWK 6000 (PATHWAY) and 6417 (Pathway Scholarship) are completed under the supervision of a Faculty Mentor.
