Funding Awarded
Congratulations to our faculty Drs. Paul Adjei and Ami Goulden, whose research projects were recently awarded federal government funding.
Both scholars were awarded Insight Development Grants. Dr. Adjei's research project, African Elders Critical Teachings (ELDERCRITS) as Epistemic Gift for Educational Reforms, was awarded $74,112. Dr. Goulden's research project, Experiences of Reproductive Care and Decision-Making for Young Women with Disabilities in Newfoundland and Labrador: A Phenomenological Research-Creation Project, was awarded $74,975.
These grants were part of over $3.3 million in funding awarded to Memorial University researchers as announced by the federal government on Sept. 13. Further information about this investment is availble via the Gazette.
