What is Field Education?
Field education is the component of the Social Work curriculum in which students achieve understanding of the relevance of theory to practice and develop competence in using values, knowledge, and skills in workplace setting.

Online Field Instructor Course
Current and potential field instructors are encouraged to complete the CASWE-ACFTS Online Field Instructor Course. This course is intended to provide participants with a firm foundation upon which to build and expand their unique instructional styles. The most recent offering of the CASWE-ACFTS Online Field Instructor Course opened August 9, 2024 and must be completed by October 4, 2024.
