The Memorial University of Newfoundland Pensioners' Association (MUNPA) is a non-profit organization that represents the interests of all retired faculty, staff and their surviving principal beneficiaries and dependant orphans.
We are the oldest university pensioners' association in Atlantic Canada, having been founded in 1985 by the late Dr. Alastair Riach.
The main purpose of the Memorial University of Newfoundland Pensioners’ Association is to foster and promote the aims and well-being of its members, to represent the members on relevant University committees as well as to receive and hold all money and other assets subscribed to it or acquired in any other way and to use such assets for the administration and betterment of the association.
