People are often hesitant to report sexual violence. We work to break down the barriers to reporting by following the 'three Cs'. 

Confidentiality
Confidentiality is very important at the Sexual Harassment Office. We respect the privacy of all persons involved. There are legal and ethical guidelines that place limits on confidentiality when there is a serious and immediate risk of harm. 

Choice
The individual who discloses a concern or incident has choices about how the situation is dealt with. There is no requirement to file a complaint or pursue a resolution. Those who decidee to do so get to choose the the resolution pathway. We will provide advice, guidance and support, but choices remains with you. 

Consent
We will not share your information without your consent. If there is a need to share your information, we will ask your permission and honour your decision.
