A Science Career Networking Event
Thursday, March 10, 1-2:45 p.m.

The best way to get information about organizations and possible future job opportunities is directly from the source. Join the Faculty of Science and several organizations that generally hire for science backgrounds (or provide essential networking opportunities) to get some face time with real industry professionals! This event is beneficial for all science students, as many companies hire for varied educational backgrounds. A list of companies that will attend is below, and information will be updated as it is received.

Even though we have gone virtual, the design of this event will ensure you are able to chat with the company reps. Enrollment is limited to keep groups small. Those registered will be split into breakout rooms, with the company representatives rotating to a different virtual room every 7 minutes. This means you will get to meet reps from all of the organizations to learn about: internship programs, possible career opportunities, networking opportunities, resources, and general info on the company or organization.

It is a good idea to do some preliminary research on the companies and prepare the questions you might ask. Some sample questions can be found here.
