Joel Finnis

Organized by MEOPAR researchers from Memorial University, with the assistance of the Newfoundland & Labrador Fish Harvesting Safety Association (NL-FHSA), the roundtable on forecast use in Atlantic Canada brought together a varied group of forecast users and producers. The goal of the meeting was to explore approaches to using and communicating forecast information, and identify needs of different stakeholder groups. Attitudes towards forecasts (their usefulness, accuracy, etc.) were also explored.
