Teaming-Up for Sanskrit
Religious Studies MUN is partnering with Religious Studies and Classics at Dalhousie University, offering a shared teaching plan for introductory Sanskrit courses. Drs. Christopher Austin (Dal) and Patricia Dold (MUN) are behind the shared teaching initiative. In the coming academic year (2021-22), Dr. Dold will teach the courses at Memorial and broadcast to Dal students as a live online synchronous class. In future years, Dr. Austin will teach the classes at Dalhousie and broadcast to Memorial. The aim of the initiative is ensure regular offering of Sanskrit at both institutions. A similar initiative has been established through a partnership between MUN Classics and Dal, for the teaching of teaching of upper-level Greek and Latin.
