As with just about everything else, COVID-19 has changed the way that collaboration happens between universities and the public. At the same time, making and maintaining meaningful public engagement relationships has never been more important.
When life moved online, there were plenty of hiccups and challenges, but in the meantime, many organizations have adapted and found new ways to connect with stakeholders and partners; however, access is still a challenge, on a number of fronts.
How do we engage though a digital divide? How do we build deep and meaningful relationships from afar and in front of a computer screen? And how can we be innovative in creating new partnerships in a time of distance?
