New funding for public engagement at conferences and events
Planning a large event or conference? The Catalyst Conference Fund for Public Engagement can help you develop programming that includes a focus on public engagement.
The Catalyst Conference Fund for Public Engagement supports conference organizers in creating opportunities for public engagement as part of large events. The fund is designed to support academic conferences that align with the goals and objectives of Memorial’s Public Engagement Framework by encouraging opportunities for public participation in conference activities.
The fund offers up to $5,000 to support academic conferences that demonstrate public involvement and engagement. Applications will be reviewed as they are received in small batches and will continue until the fund is exhausted. A total amount of $25,000 is available in the Catalyst Conference fund for the 2020-21 fiscal year. For more information, please see the Fund Guide and apply here.
