MUN and North West River, Sitting in a Tree
February 13th, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm, Labrador Institute, North West River Research Facility
A celebration of the many partnerships between the Memorial University and North West River communities. Scheduled activities include a presentation by anthropologist Andrea Procter (also to be streamed live online), a "meet the researchers" opportunity and informative tour of the labs and working spaces, a reception and meet-and-greet, and the release of a DVD showcasing a piece of North West River's archival cultural heritage.
There will also be a display of relevant art, historic photographs and video, research posters by Labrador Institute staff, associates, and partners, and a piece outlining in brief the history of Memorial in Labrador.
